Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in a safe, timely manner to various locations.
Duties:
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver products to customers
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are securely stowed
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Operate a box truck or other delivery vehicle efficiently
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks before and after each trip
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Ability to lift heavy packages and navigate various delivery routes
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and routes
- Excellent communication skills and customer service-oriented approach
- Experience with courier services is a plus
